Lower Body Massage

What To Expect From Your Werx Lower Body Massage?

Our lower body massage treatments are designed to relieve tension, improve movement, and support recovery in the hips, glutes, hamstrings, quadriceps, calves, and feet. Whether you’re an athlete chasing performance, recovering from training, or simply struggling with stiffness from daily life, these sessions target the areas that matter most.

What to expect?

  • Initial Chat & Assessment: We start with a quick discussion about your needs, any current issues, and what you’d like to achieve from the session.
  • Tailored Treatment: The massage focuses on your problem areas — from easing tight hamstrings or calves to releasing hip and glute tension. We use a blend of sports massage, deep tissue techniques, stretching, and mobilisation to get results.
  • Comfort First: You can wear shorts or sportswear; towels are used for privacy and comfort. Pressure is always adjusted to your preference, aiming for effective treatment without unnecessary pain.
  • Aftercare Advice: At the end, we’ll re-check your movement and provide guidance to help you recover, stay mobile, and get the most out of the treatment. Optional exercise prescriptions can be added if you’d like a structured plan to support your recovery.

Benefits of Lower Body Massage

  • Reduced muscle tightness and soreness in legs and hips.
  • Improved mobility and stride mechanics.
  • Relief from common issues such as calf stiffness, ITB irritation, or glute pain.
  • Faster recovery between training sessions or matches.
  • Support for injury prevention and long-term joint health.

What To Bring & Know?

  • Wear loose, easy-to-move-in clothing — we may be adjusting limbs or testing movement.
  • Hydrate before and after — particularly important when working with fascia and joints.
  • Be open about how your body is responding — we’ll adjust techniques based on real-time feedback.
  • You might feel like you've had a workout — and that’s a good thing. Soreness can happen after deeper or more technical work, but it should subside in 24–48 hours.

Who It’s For

  • Runners, cyclists, gym goers, and team sport athletes.
  • People with tight hips or legs from desk-based or manual work.
  • Anyone dealing with lower-limb aches, stiffness, or recurring niggles.

This isn’t just treatment — it’s physical problem-solving. By combining hands-on muscle work with clinical mobility techniques, your session becomes a full-system tune-up, not just a rub-down.

If you’re serious about your performance, recovery, or long-term movement health — this is the session for you.
