Our History
Passion, experience and a fierce commitment to education are the cornerstones of our success in your rehabilitation.
The Werx Clinic is a well-established, family based clinic located in the heart of Sprowston. The clinic practitioner is a fully qualified Biomechanics Physiologist and has been a senior lecturer of Exercise Physiology, Sports Medicine, Sports Science, Biomechanics and Sports Injuries for the past decade. So being an honour graduate and educational postgraduate affords you the comfort that you are in safe, knowledgeable and experienced hands.
The Werx Clinic works with and alongside local sports clubs, local businesses and trusted competitors. Our aim is to engage the community and encourage both a healthy mind and body as well as actively promoting prevention from injury and disease. The clinician has over twenty two years of educational expertise as well as a decade of senior lecturing around the subject of health, disease, injury and prevention.
2021
Started route to becoming qualified in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Neuro-linguisting Programming (NLP) and Psychotherapy (very unique and exciting new style of combination therapy not seen in the county coming soon).
2016
Continuation of study and improve the skill sets to stay current with, and receive training in, the most effective forms of treatment for your rehabilitation.
2014
Became a qualified practitioner of High Velocity Manipulation Techniques, Western Medical Acupuncture and Ultrasound.
2008
Became a senior lecturer in Sports Medicine, Biomechanics, Physiology, Sports Injuries and Kinesiology.
2006
Became the lead teacher for Physiology and Biomechanics
2004
Started Teaching and gain a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (P.G.C.E.)
2000
Graduated from university with both a Diploma in Higher Education (Dip HE) and a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree, BSc (Hons). Also started working for the NHS Trust and within Private Healthcare.
